Greetings to all wanderers! I'm incredibly excited to release this game! It's been a long journey, but three and a half years after starting the project, I'm ready to call it completed. I want to take this time to thank Denis "Sayned" for sticking with me throughout the entire project. Denis has been responsible for the amazing art style of the game and its many iconic creatures and heroes. This update is quite massive. It adds a new character, new cards, new items, new quests, the fourth Depth as well as the final area. We can finally face the final boss of the game and know who has been causing all of the ruckus! I'm very happy with the state of the game for the release and I'm very excited to see all of you playing it and seeing what new decks you all come up with. For those who want even more Breach Wanderers, rest assured that this will not be the last you'll see of this game. I have many ideas for new characters, new areas, new cards, and these will be coming in the future. While I'm working hard on finishing the game, there are a few things that I wanted to address before the final update. Several users were getting a bit confused by quests, others wanted to be able to replay them, and there were some small annoying bugs laying around. I'm also taking this patch as an opportunity to give some love to Caitan, who has been the least popular hero for a while now. Finally, it wouldn't be a patch without some new cards to play with! I hope you enjoy the 30 new generic cards included in this patch. Enjoy this small update and I'll see you soon, for the 1.0 release.

I'm really happy to finish the year with the Storyline update! This patch introduces the Guild Hall and the new Quest system. Quests are unique adventures that you can go on in order to unlock critical progression. Higher Depths levels, some cards, items and even some characters will be locked behind Quests for new players. I've also added 2 new game modes to the game. Draft mode is a Quickplay variant that lets you draft your entire starting deck. Rush Mode is a alternate game mode that lets you attempt a short run versus a single empowered area. Now it's time to hunker down and work on the final patch of the game! It may take a while before that one is completely finished, since it will include a lot of new content, as well as full localization for the game in many languages! Thanks to everyone who has played and enjoyed the game so far, I'm extremely excited to work on the final patch and to launch the game in 2023!

It's certainly been a while! I do apologize for the delay, many things happened in real life and this patch also ended up being trickier than expected, but I'm extremely happy with the result! First off, I'm happy to welcome Nayema to the guild's roster. Nayema is a spellcaster who uses astral powers. Mechanically, she switches between 3 different stances and uses a combination of Wits, Mana Boost, Burn and Spells to vanquish her foes! I've also added skins for every character! On mobile, those can be purchased with a brand new gems currency. On PC, they'll cost gold. The Idol of Emptiness has joined the Shrine's Pantheon. Be careful of what lurks in the depths between the stars. The other major additions are the achievements and the cross-platform cloud saving! I've also done a balance pass on many items and cards.

I'm very happy to introduce the Shrine to Breach Wanderers! The Shrine is a building in town that will allow you to increase the game's difficulty for a greater challenge! Invoke the power of various idols to empower enemies and earn greater rewards. This update also introduces the Crystal Valley, the second alternative area! It features shiny monsters and spooky ghosts.

We are now at the second patch of the Aether Storm update, an this one is a big one! I'm very excited to introduce the Weather system to the game! This system allows weather events to spawn in maps. Weather events will affect the fights they touch significantly, and they will also add some strong weather cards as rewards for those fights!

The Aether Storm update is well on its way, but it will be a massive update. We've decided to break it down into 2 or 3 patches instead, and the Shah'Ru update is the first of them! This patch introduces Shah'Ru, a brand new hero! We've also reduced the gold cost of several upgrades, added new items and new cards to the game, swapped the starting hero (it's now Silan instead of Raodan!) and made some stability fixes for mobile. As always, we've also taken the time to tune several cards, mostly buffing unused Generic cards. And once again, our wonderful community member Falterfire has taken the time to break down the patch for you guys!

This update is the second out of 5 major updates from our Early Access roadmap! We're incredibly excited to release this update, as it makes the game look amazing! We can't wait for everyone to see the new visuals for the game's UI. As a bonus, this patch also introduces Paladin, a brand new hero that focuses on playing defensively and accumulating Energy, in order to become Supercharged and annihilate its enemies! We've also tuned several aspects of the game, to make the experience more balanced and enjoyable at all levels of play! Please note that you will lose any ongoing run when updating to the newest version. The game's UI overhaul is going very well! Our artist s are very hard at work! While we wait for all of the UI to be finished, we still wanted to publish a balance update for the game. This update contains many new features, a few new cards, and many balance changes to existing cards! GENERAL CHANGES - Added Cloud Save for the Android platform - Fatigue is now in the game: Every time you draw 6 extra cards, gain 1 rank of fatigue. Increases the cost of all non-mana cards drawn by 1 per rank of Fatigue. Lose all ranks at end of turn. Fatigue cannot be Cleansed and ignores Purity. - Forge upgrades were tweaked: o Aether Boosters upgrade now has 10 tiers, for +15 energy each o Reinforced Outfits upgrade now has 10 tiers, for +5% health each o Regenerative Harness upgrade now has 4 tiers o Astral Spyglass upgrade has been added - You can now select and buy new Cardbacks o Cardback selection is located in the Deck Editor - Added a "new" flag on newly unlocked cards, as well as "Sort by: New" to see them first - Quickplay has been tweaked: o Bosses no longer give an extra Remove. They instead give 1 extra Lucky Charm. o You begin each Quickplay Run with 2 card drafts and 2 Removes. - You will no longer always lose Evasion ranks when you have other means of evading: only if the other means failed. o Reduced the amount of Evade Chance % given by items. - Caitan has been tweaked: o Caitan now has 1 mana regeneration by default. o Caitan's final Passive skill now reads: "Create a temporary copy of the first Strike or Spell you play each turn. A few cards that were a bit too strong were nerfed to bring them back in line. Card Draw Changes: With Fatigue now being in the game, we were able to buff card draw in general. Almost every card that allowed you to draw other cards has been buffed slightly. The goal of these changes is to make card draw more appealing and more fun to use, while preventing going "infinite" thanks to Fatigue. Shield Changes: Several shield cards gave too little shield to really have an impact of the game. Several have had their costs and effects increased to make them more useful. Mana Changes: We tried to get rid of mana cards that upgraded for +2 mana gain, and instead focused on the unique aspect of these cards. Poison & Burn Changes: Both the Poison and Burn archetypes had many cards dedicated to them, but they were not very effective. Almost every Burn and Poison card was tuned or tweaked, making these decks real options to consider now! Mirley Changes: Made a few tweaks to a few Mirley cards so that she's a bit more reliable overall. Along with the changes to how Evasion works, this should bring Mirley up to the level of the other heroes! Silan Changes: Rummage and Endure are two neat cards that can fit in many decks, and don't particularly fit Silan's mechanics, other than being cheap. 2 new Silan-specific cards were added, and Mods were tweaked to be a bit more interesting! - Rummage and Endure are now Generic - Added Armor Up and Lock and Load Caitan Changes: Caitan is extremely fun to play, but can sometimes feel a bit too strong. - Quickblast and Magic Blade were nerfed a little bit. - Max Shield 10 -> 6 - Vengeance 10% -> 8% Detailed Card Changes ===== Generic Cards ===== Absorb Soul: Effect changed from "Deal 15 damage to any enemy. The Fetid Coast update is the first of 5 updates from our Early Access Roadmap, and we're really excited to finally be able to share it with you! This patch introduces Caitan, a strong fighter/mage hybrid who spends most of his time in the Breach, defeating monsters for the thrill of the hunt. It also features the third Depth, which also means a brand new area to explore, the Fetid Coast! For mobile users, we have heard your feedback, and we will be trying a more traditional "Free-to-Play" experience: The game will be a tad slower and feature a few ads, but you will be able to play through the entire game for free; no more locked content!
